Why a Food Blog?
Sarah’s Sweet Lips
“The truth is that life is delicious, horrible, charming, frightful, sweet, bitter, and that is everything.” -Anatole France
With so many wonderful food blogs out there (see Blogs I Love on my sidebar), why did I decide to start my own? Well, it’s kind of simple. I love to communicate. I love to hear stories, and I love to share stories. It just so happens that food has played a significant role in my story. So, it only seems right that I communicate my story of recovery and health through the things I eat and experience. And actually, food blogs have been a major inspiration to me in my recovery. Blogs like Kath’s and Jenna’s taught me initially the importance of eating real and healthy food, but they also taught me the concept of balance. You can have your cake and eat it too. These women also shined light on new and interesting twists on products that I wanted to try- like the gloriousness of oatmeal, pumpkin, kale, wheatberries, and Greek yogurt. And that is precisely why the world of food blogs is so wonderful. Everyone has fresh insight and ideas that they want to share with their readers- just like me. So, here I am. Ask questions. Comment. Be a part of my story and let me be a part of yours.
