Farmer Fresh
Happy Friday!
It’s just a day away from my favorite summertime activity: the Saturday morning farmer’s market. I love to wander throughout the market, drooling over all of the fresh fruits and veggies. I always, always buy some tomatoes from the Amish stand and homemade bread from the bread guy while I’m there- which leads me to my very favorite summertime recipe as of late.
The most amazing bruschetta! I’m sure you’ve had bruschetta a million times before, but I don’t think it tastes any better than it does right now when the tomatoes are juicy and bursting with flavor. And of course, you simply must use fresh mozzarella, good olive oil, and fresh oregano if you have it. (I, sadly, was out of fresh oregano when I snapped this shot because I killed my garden.)
So, I’m curious. What’s your favorite recipe using fresh fruits and/or veggies? I’d love some inspiration!
Xo.

Bread is one thing I never buy at a farmers market. Yours looks so delicious. I think i will need to put some fresh bread on my list next time!
